PHL-1010 - Introduction to Philosophy* (H) (3) Prerequisite: College-level reading placement or complete one of the following: IRW-0900A or IRW-0900B Students survey major philosophical traditions of the world and become acquainted with major philosophers from the time of Socrates to the present. A variety of philosophical questions are proposed and differing answers explored.

CO2 - Evaluate competing claims on particular philosophical issues, such as the nature of knowledge, reality, and morality.
