PHL-1410 - Topics in Contemporary Ethics (H) (3) Students examine contemporary ethical conflicts and gain an understanding of the language, concepts, and traditions of ethics. They develop the intellectual tools to analyze moral dilemmas that will affect their lives, workplace, and public policy. A variety of topics are explored including: euthanasia, sexual morality, capital punishment, job discrimination, welfare, animal rights, and the environment. This course satisfies the General Education Humanities requirement.
