HEA-1755 - Ethical Issues for Healthcare Professionals* (3) Prerequisite: College-level reading and writing placement or complete one of the following: IRW-0900A or IRW-0900B This course presents an overview of ethical issues prevalent in healthcare and is designed to engage students focused on careers in health care as well as others interested in learning about and discussing topical issues in the health sciences. This course will involve multiple learning opportunities investigating common topics encountered in healthcare settings. Students will explore fundamental tenets in bioethics and healthcare practice and be able to use applied ethics in their understanding of the issues.
