HST-1062 - History of African Americans Since 1877* (H, C) (3) Prerequisite: College-level reading placement or complete one of the following: IRW-0900A or IRW-0900B Students survey the central place of African Americans in the cultural, economic, political, and social development of the United States, from Reconstruction to the present. This course satisfies the General Education Humanities requirement and the Core Competency for Cultural and Global Awareness.
