ART-1335 - Graphic Design IV* (3)

Prerequisite: ART-1325  
This course is intended as the capstone for Graphic Design studies. Students will work on various projects over the course of the semester that culminating in the production of a professional caliber presentation portfolio. This portfolio should illustrate that the student has developed a clear and unique identity. Students will be expected to participate in rigorous critical dialogue concerning their work and that of their peers as well as receive feedback from visiting professionals from the field.

List Course Outcomes (consistent for all sections)
CO1 - Show mastery of the computer as a tool to produce graphic design including the design software in the Adobe Creative Suite CC.

CO2 - Demonstrate ability to look at and critique design compositions by evaluating technical, compositional, and conceptual concerns.

CO3 - Utilize research and analysis to solve creative problems.

CO4 - Understand how cultural diversity informs the design solution and the communicative message of a brand campaign.

CO5 - Produce a professional caliber presentation portfolio.

CO6 - Create projects that are an example of the technical knowledge gained through the reading, lectures, and assignments in this class.
