MTH-1012 - Mathematics for Technologies II* (M) (3) Prerequisite: MTH-1011 This course is a continuation of MTH-1011 . Topics include functions and graphs, vectors, oblique triangles, exponential and logarithmic functions, complex numbers and conic sections. This course satisfies the General Education Mathematics requirement.
List Course Outcomes (consistent for all sections) CO1 - Analyze the graph or equation of a trigonometric function to determine its amplitude, period, frequency, and phase shift.
CO2 - Solve oblique triangles in order to apply them to real world problems.
CO3 - Determine the solution set of systems of linear equations utilizing matrices in order to apply them to real world problems.
CO4 - Analyze the graphs of exponential and logarithmic functions.
CO5 - Solve equations in the complex number system.
CO6 - Solve addition and subtraction problems in the binary and hexadecimal number systems.
