MUS-2195D - Private Instruction/Tuba IV* (2) Prerequisite: MUS-2185D or MUS-2185. Students in their fourth semester of private instruction prepare a selected repertoire for a recital presentation at the end of the semester with instructor and department approval.
List Course Outcomes (consistent for all sections) CO1 - Prepare, rehearse, and perform solo tuba repertory.
CO2 - Utilize proper tuba techniques commensurate with student’s skill level.
CO3 - Use appropriate stylistic distinctions in solo tuba repertory.
CO4 - Apply knowledge of music theory to solo tuba repertory.
