MUS-2196D - Private Instruction/Saxophone IV* (2) Prerequisite: MUS-2186D or MUS-2186. Students in their fourth semester of private instruction prepare a selected repertoire for a recital presentation at the end of the semester with instructor and department approval.
List Course Outcomes (consistent for all sections) CO1 - Prepare, rehearse, and perform solo saxophone repertory.
CO2 - Utilize proper saxophone techniques commensurate with student’s skill level.
CO3 - Use appropriate stylistic distinctions in solo saxophone repertory.
CO4 - Apply knowledge of music theory to solo saxophone repertory.
