HIM-2230 - Health Information Management Statistics & Research* (3)

Prerequisite: HIM-2215 ; HIM-2200  
Students learn to calculate, apply, and present health care statistics relevant to health information management.  Students are introduced to research methodologies used in health care. Students must earn a minimum grade of C for all prerequisite(s)/co-requisite(s) to meet registration requirements.

CO1 - Calculate health care statistics used in health care operations.

CO2 - Produce graphical representations of health care data.

CO3 - Summarize research methodologies used in health care.

CO4 - Discuss the implication of ethical research standards.
