HIM-2200 - Health Information Management Data Analytics* (3)

Prerequisite: HIM-2100 ; MTH-1015  
Students focus on data integrity and health informatics as basis for developing skills in collecting and analyzing data. Topics include Clinical decision support, data reliability, validity and quality aspects of data. Students will also be introduced to database theory, analysis, and design. Students must earn a minimum grade of C for all prerequisite(s)/co-requisite(s) to meet registration requirements.

CO1 - Describe data collection standards and data sets.

CO2 - Utilize data principles to manage health information.

CO3 - Apply knowledge of health informatics to the analysis of health information.
