List Course Outcomes (consistent for all sections) CO1 - Discuss the relationship between the principles of asepsis and practice of sterile technique when establishing a sterile field.
CO2 - Demonstrate handwashing, packaging techniques and donning and doffing PPE.
CO3 - Identify basic surgical instruments by type, function, and name.
CO4 - Describe the stages/phases of wound healing and the complications that can occur during the healing process.
CO5 - Identify the various ways a wound or surgical incision is closed, the equipment used, and how the medical assistant aids in the procedure
