Graduates will be prepared for positions requiring computer-aided drafting competencies. Typically, such positions support the work of architects, builders, mechanical and civil engineers, manufacturers and other technical professionals.
The program is open to individuals with no previous drafting experience. Students will complete courses in computer-aided drafting and writing and will select three credits of elective coursework. The credits in this program count towards completion of the Engineering Technology, AAS degree, Drafting area of concentration.
The maximum number of credits accepted in transfer from other institutions to this program is 18.
