This coursework will prepare students for employment as entry-level drafting technicians in positions requiring preparation of detailed technical drawings made with drawing instruments or by application of computer techniques.

No prior experience in drafting or computer technology is required. The credits in this program count towards completion of the Drafting Certificate and also the Engineering Technology, AAS degree, Drafting area of concentration.

The maximum number of credits accepted in transfer from other institutions to this program is 6.
