This degree program prepares students who are currently employed as well as those without prior work experience to develop the skills required of managers in a variety of business settings. Introductory courses expand knowledge and skills in a number of business disciplines, while upper-level courses and electives allow students to specialize to suit their career plans.
The Business Management AAS program provides students with a broad background in the functional areas of business, such as accounting and finance, management and strategy, marketing and communication, and human resources and leadership. Students may either continue their studies or find entry-level employment in the field. While there are some transfer opportunities for students in the Business Management AAS program, students interested in transferring to a 4-year college should consider completing the Business Administration AS degree program.
