This degree program prepares students who are currently employed as well as those without prior work experience to develop the skills required of managers in a variety of business settings. Introductory courses expand knowledge and skills in a number of business disciplines, while upper-level courses and electives allow students to specialize to suit their career plans.
The Business Management, AAS program provides students with a broad background in the functional areas of business, such as accounting and finance, management and strategy, marketing and communication, and human resources and leadership. Students may either continue their studies or find entry-level employment in the field. While there are some transfer opportunities for students in the Business Management, AAS program, students interested in transferring to a 4-year college should consider completing the Business Administration AS degree program.

The Business Management Associate of Applied Science degree program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools & Programs. Business Management: Construction Management Concentration
In addition to the core skills provided in the overarching Business Management AAS curriculum, the Construction Management Concentration prepares students for construction management practice and entry-level management responsibilities in the construction field. Students gain knowledge and skills in construction project management and implementation, including the ability to prepare construction documents, cost estimates, and project schedules; perform site inspections; manage resources; and work with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies.

Students gain skills in supervision of front office operations, housekeeping management, and food and beverage services, as well as marketing and the use of information systems in the hospitality industry.
