DAN-1200 - Jazz Dance IV* (2) Prerequisite: DAN-1090 Students develop an advanced level of dance fluency and may have the opportunity to explore dance construction/choreography. Students are required to notate the advanced jazz dance routine taught in class as well as perform and execute the routine. Students may have the opportunity to audition for the college dance ensemble or participate in the dance ensemble concert.
List Course Outcomes (consistent for all sections) CO1 - Prepare, rehearse, and perform solo and ensemble jazz and contemporary repertory.
CO2 - Utilize proper dance techniques to develop body awareness and movement confidence.
CO3 - Use appropriate stylistic exercises to develop physical strength and flexibility.
CO4 - Apply knowledge of choreography to solo and ensemble jazz and contemporary repertory.
