ITS-2620 - Web Graphics and Multimedia* (3) Prerequisite: ITS-1010 or ITS-1205 Students learn the fundamentals of computer graphics and image manipulation and explore techniques for adding animation and interactivity to web pages. Students will use graphics editing software to create and manipulate graphic images. Students will also utilize a multimedia platform to create animation, advertisements, and various web page Flash components. In addition, students will explore methods to integrate video into web pages. Students will be exposed to concepts important to information technology professionals working in website development, desktop publishing, photography, publications, and graphics design fields.
List Course Outcomes (consistent for all sections) CO -1 Create graphics and multimedia elements, including animation, for website development.
CO2 - Work as part of a team in order to customize web graphics and multimedia according to customer needs.
CO3 - Identify the basic design elements of effective electronic images and multimedia.
