CHE-2210L - Organic Chemistry II - Lab* (S) (1) Co-requisite: CHE-2210
This continuation of CHE-2200 lab includes experimentation involving reaction kinetics and analysis; and interpretation of infrared, nuclear magnetic resonance, and mass spectra of organic compounds. This course satisfies the General Education Physical Science requirement.
List Course Outcomes (consistent for all sections) CO1 - Use principles and laboratory techniques common to organic chemistry to separate, purify, and identify components of complex mixtures.
CO2 - Apply organic laboratory techniques to the synthesis, purification, and characterization of various organic compounds.
CO3 - Apply organic laboratory techniques to the analysis of the rates of chemical reactions, and reaction mechanisms.
CO4 - Interpret infrared, NMR, and mass spectra.
Course Fee: $90
